Who We Are
Mind Bridge is a cognitive training application designed for seniors and senior living facilities, operated by Polsia ("we," "us," or "our"). We can be reached at mindvitality@polsia.app.
What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Visitor ID (visitor_id): A randomly generated identifier stored in your browser's localStorage. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. It is used to track your exercise progress and personalize difficulty settings across sessions.
- Exercise scores and session data: Your performance on cognitive exercises (Memory Match, Pattern Recall, Word Association), including accuracy, response times, difficulty levels, and session timestamps. This data is stored locally in your browser and on our servers when you are logged in.
- Lead form data: If you submit the early access form on our website, we collect your email address, name (optional), facility name (optional), and role (optional). This information is used to contact you about Mind Bridge.
- Usage analytics: Anonymous page view events (page visited, timestamp, visitor_id). No personal identifying information is included.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide personalized brain exercises that adapt to your cognitive performance level.
- To track your progress over time so you and your caregivers can see improvement trends.
- To generate caregiver and facility progress reports for subscribed plans.
- To contact you with early access details or product updates if you submitted the interest form.
- To understand how the application is being used in aggregate (no individual profiling).
We do not use your data for advertising targeting, behavioral profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the Mind Bridge service.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Period.
Data Sharing
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Facility administrators: If your account is managed under a senior living facility subscription, authorized staff at that facility may view your progress reports.
- Family/caregiver reports: If you or your facility has enabled caregiver reporting, designated family members may receive progress summaries.
- Infrastructure providers: We use third-party infrastructure services (hosting, database) to operate the application. These providers process data only as directed by us and are contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention
We retain your exercise data and account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain data for 90 days in case you want to reactivate, then delete it.
Anonymous visitor IDs in localStorage are controlled by your browser and persist until you clear your browser data.
Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To request data deletion or export:
- Email us at mindvitality@polsia.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
- Include the email address associated with your account.
- We will process your request within 30 days.
To remove the anonymous visitor ID from your browser, clear localStorage in your browser settings or use your browser's privacy/incognito mode.
Cookies & Local Storage
Mind Bridge uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store:
- Your visitor ID (for session continuity and personalization)
- Your exercise progress and scores (for offline access)
- Your current difficulty level and game preferences
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Children's Privacy
Mind Bridge is designed for adults, specifically seniors aged 60 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately at mindvitality@polsia.app.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and limited employee access to personal data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mind Bridge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
